It's now a month since we completed on the sale of our holiday home of 23 years in Torrox Pueblo using Rivera Real Estate. Not a writer of reviews normally, in this case we want to give Richie Worthington an honest 5 star rating. Having met Richie some time ago, it was whilst in Torrox in March this year Richie called on us as he told us he may have a prospective buyer for the house. We decided this was the time to sell. Richie moved very quickly and advised us on a realistic selling price. He came and took some great photos the next day and the house was on the market. With all the sales paperwork in place, Richie certainly knows the Spanish system, we didn't! With three viewings during our short stay, a sale was agreed very quickly, only very slightly less than the asking price. The whole process from start to finish was trouble free. Richie was there all the way and with the support from Alejandra, his wife certainly put us at ease. We cannot recommend Rivera Real Estate and Richie enough, he has a very professional manner but at the same time we got to know him quite well. Richie did his very best for us, at no time did we entertain using another agent, we met Richie and we knew he was the right person for us, no regrets, Many thanks. Carol

We’ve just bought our new house in Torrox Pueblo with Richie at Rivera Real Estate. From the first meeting with Richie and all the way through the purchase process he has been very professional and his customer service is second to none. He made which could be a very stressful process completely seamless. I have no reservations at recommending his company.

After two disappointing (and costly) trips from Ireland to the Torrox area to view houses other agents assured us were exactly what we wanted, but which turned out to be completely unsuitable, I was fortunate enough to come across Richie and Rivera Real Estate. He replied within a few hours to an email, listened to our needs and lined up two houses to view the following day. Both houses were perfect! Over the course of a weekend, Richie met us at the houses for second viewings and then worked tirelessly with ourselves and the vendor on one of them to get the best price for the seller and us our dream holiday home. Throughout the process, Richie was always on the end of the phone or email helping everything along and picking up the slack when it felt like others in the process were dragging their heels. In short. I can not thank Richie enough for everything he did to make our purchase as smooth as possible, and I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to both buyers and sellers alike. He is one of those rarest things in the Spanish property market: An honest, helpful and reliable estate agent!

Buying through Rivera Real Estate was a positive experience throughout the whole process. Photos and details were so informative and well presented that we felt confident to decide on our purchase after one viewing. Communication with Richie Worthington was of the highest quality. He is friendly, efficient and business-like. He managed well to balance our needs as the buyer at the same as managing his responsibilities to other parties. We have bought and sold numerous properties in several countries and have never experienced service of this level.

And I mean "helped.” He and his Spanish wife Alejandra provided an excellent service in every way. In spite of my being in the U.K. at no time did I feel left out of the proceedings, being closely informed every step of the way. Having decided to sell our Torrox pueblo house - after twenty happy years of owning and restoring it - we contacted Richie Worthington of Rivera Real Estates with a view to putting it on the market. Richie quickly and efficiently valued the property and prepared the photographs and after only ten days on the market, the very first viewing resulted in an offer. The sale has just completed in an unbelievably short eight weeks. Richie has kept us informed at every stage, answered any queries promptly and liaised efficiently between us, our lawyer and the buyers’ lawyer. His approach is friendly and professional and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him if you are looking to sell - or buy - on the Eastern Costa del Sol.

Buying with confidence: We first made contact with Richie Worthington when he found a buyer for our home and again used his expertise when looking for another home. He is well informed, polite and not at all ''pushy.'' We trust his advice and his knowledge of the market which is a refreshing experience having dealt with some other estate agents.
